Meet Pastor Lou Tiscione

Lou Tiscione, Pastor

Weatherford Presbyterian Church (PCA)

“Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for my soul.” Psalm 66:16 (ESV)

Psalmist wrote these words to call Gods people to publicly declare His praises. As I write this short bio of my experience of God's providence in my life, I am convicted once again that the God we love and worship is indeed full of mercy and grace. I pray that you will experience the majesty and love of God anew as you read this. God alone, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, is to be worshipped and adored.
I look forward with great expectation to your visit and hearing what He has done for your soul!

By God's grace and His sovereign will, I was born again on January 29, 1986, in the midst of a serious automobile accident. By the power of His Holy Spirit, He changed my life forever. He placed a compelling desire in my heart to run after Him. God ordained a tragedy to give me His greatest blessing, life in Christ.  As I pursued Christ through reading and studying the Bible, I became convicted of my sinfulness in the light of His holiness. I surrendered my life to Christ by the power of His Holy Spirit. I repented of my sins and placed my whole trust in His finished work. God has continued to teach me what it means to follow Him.

My undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering is from Villanova University, Class of 1973. After 18 yrs, mostly in the Commercial Nuclear Power Industry, I began my seminary education at Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA in 1991. After earning a Master of Divinity in 1994, I was ordained to the gospel ministry and served three churches in
the Episcopal Denomination, two in Florida and one in Texas. I transferred into the Presbyterian Church in America in 2005 and am the organizing Pastor of this blessed church.  Laurie, my devoted wife and I were married on July 14, 1973. We have three children and eight grandchildren.

I am a Christian by God's grace and a Reformed Evangelical by conviction. The Protestant Reformers of the sixteenth Century recovered the faith that was, "once for all delivered to the saints." Jude 3. I see the majesty and love of God in Christ magnified knowing that He did for me what I could never do for myself.  I was dead and He made me alive!

Please join us at Weatherford Presbyterian Church and catch the joy of the Lord along with us as we participate in God's work of building His Kingdom.  What a blessing it is to be a part of His vision here!

We are sinners saved by God's grace, desiring to be people of grace. We will be blessed by your presence, and I confidently say that you will be blessed to see what God is doing in and through us.

Yours in Christ's love and service,
The Rev. Louis B. Tiscione
